Tottenham have completed the signing of Clement Lenglet, who becomes Antonio Conte’s fifth signing of the summer.
The Barcelona defender has moved to north London on a season-long loan deal.
The 27-year-old has spent the last four seasons with the Catalan giants, making 158 appearances and scoring seven goals in the process.
A centre-back by trade, Lenglet will fill a crucial role in Antonio Conte’s side as he competes for a spot on the left side of Spurs’ three central defenders.
Lenglet becomes Tottenham’s fifth signing of the summer following deals for Fraser Forster, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Richarlison who joined the club for a £60million fee from Everton.
