Richarlison will improve Tottenhamās squad but he wouldnāt get into Arsenalās starting XI, former Gunner Jack Wilshere believes.
The Everton forward is closing in on a Ā£50million move to Spurs, who have had a very productive transfer window so far.
Wilshere says the Brazilian ācould be one to watchā at Spurs, however, Richarlison wouldnāt be guaranteed a start in Mikel Artetaās first team.
āI think he improves the squad, definitelyā¦ he gives them something different,ā Wilshere told talkSPORT.
āI wouldnāt say Iām gutted [heās not signed for Arsenal].
āHeās 25, so not young. There comes a point where youāre going to have to turn that potential into something but to be fair if any one can do it, itās Antonio Conte.
āI wouldnāt say Iām devastated as an Arsenal fan but he could be one to watch, he could be really good.ā
And when asked if heād have Richarlison at Arsenal, Wilshere said: āYeah but I donāt think he gets in the XI.
āHeād definitely challenge for it and be a good part of the squad but I donāt think he gets in the XI.ā
Richarlison will be the latest signing in an exciting transfer window, who have also brought in Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.
Itās been suggested that Spurs could catch up with Manchester City and Liverpool and Wilshere jokes he has plans to go far, far away if Antonio Conteās men win the Premier League.
Asked what heād do if Spurs were to become champions, Wilshere said: āIām moving to Australia if that ever happens!ā
